Chicago to Morgantown, WVA

This was a long travel day- late start getting the bike out of the shop, so we were on the road at 11:30. Other than gas we went straight through to Morgantown. We are at the  Morgan Hotel and packing for one more short travel day!! It will be good to get home, pick up the dogs from their respective "camps" and sit on the back porch.

Then back into West Virginia to Morgantown. We stayed here last fall when hurricane Sandy hit. We were in Chicago then too, but because of the storm our flight was cancelled and we rented a car to get back home. When we woke up in the morning, everything was covered in snow, even some of the Interstates were closed!

Pretty crazy for Oct. 30!!



Chicago Day #4

This is our last day here in Chicago. We are leaving tomorrow and will be home by Sunday. Fortunately, they are coming home in another week so we will see more of them soon!!

Chicago day # 3

Today was a mellow day. We took it easy  until Ella's gymnastics class and after, went to the Farmer's Market at Lincoln Square. There is live music, food, beer and wine on Thursday nights.

Chicago day #2: zoo, park

We spent the day going to the park, to the zoo and eating!! Great weather- no heat. Cleve and I baby- sat last night while John and Peggy took in a movie. Other than getting Ella to bed it was great.

Janesville, Wisconsin to Chicago!!

We made it to Chicago yesterday mid-day. After dropping the motorcycle at the BMW dealer, John and Killian picked us up and we headed home to see Peggy and Ella.

Fergus Falls, MN to Janesville, Wisconsin

Today was a travel day mostly on interstates, so not many pictures. We are about 2 hours out of Chicago so we will be there in the morning. We are very excited to see the newest Jones, Killian.

We ordered two Killian beers in honor of our new grandbaby, Killian!! We were at Mable Murphy's, an Irish pub and restaurant.

We went though Wisconsin Dell- it looks like a very fun family entertainment town, full of water parks, putt out golf and rollercoasters....etc.

Tonight in Janesville, Wisconsin then on to Chicago tomorrow!! I am sure to have baby pictures.
