Today was a cold wet rainy ride foe the first few hours. it was only in the 50’s and rained steady as we made our way north through Michigan towards Mackinaw City at the top of the mitten. By the time we got to Cheboygan the rain stopped and it was beautiful. We stopped and sampled some of their IPA’s and Stout beers- very yummy!
We got to Mackinaw City and has made reservations at a hotel we saw online- another hotel fiasco! As we looked around, we noticed that the carpeting was all wet around the bathroom floor and there was hair all over the bathroom walls. While it wasn’t as bad as last nights hotel it was not okay. We left and were able to get in the hotel we stayed at before, the Rainbow Motel, older but well cared for.
