We happened to go by the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park, so we stopped for a quick look.
Along the road are gorgeous views of the coast including Haystack Rock.
We stopped in Newport, OR for the night and took in a beautiful sunset.

Seattle, WA to Newport, OR
We left Seattle this morning after a final visit over breakfast with John and family. From there we headed south picking up the 101 along the coast of Oregon. Although it was slow traveling it was worth it for the views along the way.
