We made our way south today towards Denver and settled in Colorado Springs while we waited for information about Cleveland's dads' funeral. We learned tonight that it will be Saturday, so we'll fly home in a couple of days and then return to Colorado to finish our trip.
This afternoon we found a local brewery and sampled a stout and an IPA- both very good. We had some good talks about our fathers, shed a few tears and counted our blessings.
I'm having trouble adding photos but have some beautiful pictures of the Rockies- we have a great view from out hotel window. Tomorrow we'll head up to Pikes Peak and then tour Great Sand Dunes National Park later tomorrow or Tuesday.
