Salt Lake City, Utah

We left Pocatello, Idaho this morning heading to Salt Lake City. On the way we stopped for the second time to see the Golden Spike National Historic Site and the Orbital ATK testing facility in Promontory, Utah. Once again, it got hot, over 100 degrees! Once at our hotel we had to wait for our room to be ready. Since it was so hot, we Ubered to the BMW rally- it reached 104 on the way....crazy hot, but dry.

Here are photos of the Orbital rocket display

Next, we visited the Golden Spike National Historic Site

Whoops- upside down but don't know how to rotate it!

We then went to the rally for a couple of hours. After a great dinner at the Red Rock Brewery (4% alcohol on tap is the law), we took a walk around Temple Square.
More photos later- technical difficulties!
