Norris Arm North to Clarenville, NL

We enjoyed breakfast with a friendly host and hostess of the Alderburn B&B and a french couple from Quebec. It is fun to hear where folks have been! Our hosts spend 6 months in NL and 6 months in Florida. We traveled in pretty warm weather to Clarenville. Our reserved B&B turned out to be a musty dump in a basement of a restaurant- we opted to keep going to Clarenville. It was a wise choice!! It was a travel day with little sight seeing, but still very enjoyable.

Lighthouse at Twillingate

Cleve has been waiting the whole trip for this!

The scenery brings a bit of romance!!

No Mcd's or Starbucks around here- this was a lunch stop today that was great!! Cleve got a banana split and I got coffee and a yummy salad. You'd never know from the outside how good the food is here.

This is where we landed tonight-nice rooms with fireplaces! Tomorrow we head to St. Johns- a real city. It should be fun.
