Cleve was able to talk with an area BMW rider who referred him to a small dealership in Chico, about an hour away. We let around 7:00 with the hopes of getting there as they opened at 8:00. It was a cold ride, actually dipping to 39 degrees as we drove through the wooded area. But it warmed up to the 70's by the time we arrived. They were able to take the bike in right away and get us back on the road. They were so very friendly and helpful, and even steered us to Fort Bragg as a place to stay on the coast.
The scenery varied along the way: hot and dry, to beautiful redwood forests and finally the coast where a heavy fog was setting in as we arrived. It is a chilly 60 here in the fog!

Tomorrow is uncertain- but we plan to see the Redwood NP further north of us.
