Florence, OR to Eugene, OR

We headed up the coast towards Heceta Head Lighthouse. It is a beautiful drive through the evergreens, past ocean views and sand dunes. We took a walk around to get a view of the lighthouse, then headed back south to Rt. 126 to Eugene, OR. Cleve wants to try the float tank there. He has an appointment for 8:00 tonight!!

Once in Eugene we found a place for lunch- there are so many restaurants here. Then we took a walk to Skinner Butte Park which over looks the city of Eugene. We continued walking and found the float tank location. Eugene is very busy, fun town. It is the biggest one we've seen in a while!

Cleve is getting ready to head to the float tank. He'll spend 11/2 hours in a totally dark tank, floating in 1000 lbs. of Epsom salt,  with the water temp. at 93.5. Floating has been around for 40 years- remember the movie Altered States?? I'll keep you posted on the results!!

Okay- he did it and loved it and would definitely do it again. Here is the "after" photo-

You decide- did it work??
