Salina, Kansas to Greely, Colorado

Today was a travel day with little touring or sight seeing. We traveled through Kansas to a small section of Nebraska into the northeastern part of Co. Greely is NE of Denver. We ran into a significant storm early this morning, but after had good weather- warm, into the 90's but not bad.

We took cover under an overpass and hung out with the swallows!

 These two pictures show a "dirt devil" coming across the field- we  stopped to see it and then realized it was coming right at us! Cleve pulled away quickly and just behind us was the "dirt devil" complete with tumbleweeds!

We are now in mountain time, two hours ahead of home- it's time for dinner.
