Huntington WVa to Selina, Kansas

It has been a couple of days since my last post, largely due to internet and Google blogger issues. Trio catch you up on where we've been, we spent a night with family friends, John and Carmen and their 2 great boys in St. Joseph, Illinois. We left there Monday morning and went to Springfield to see Abe Lincoln's home, and then on to St. Louis, Missouri. We took a ride in the arch and stayed near the waterfront area, right on the Mississippi river. This morning we left in rainy weather but were able to get ahead of the storm and are roughly in mid-Kansas on I-70. Temperatures stayed at a very comfortable 85 once the sun came out. Last year we came through Kansas when it was over 100 degrees!
