Dillon, MT to Yellowstone NP

Our day began in Dillon, traveling in perfect weather towards YNP. We traveled through the historic towns of Nevada and Virginia City, Montana and then to Earthquake Lake. From there we went to West Yellowstone. We unloaded our gear and headed to Old Faithful.

Nevada City is a collection of historic buildings moved to their current location.

This was a tragic earthquake in 1959 that killed 28 campers in a landslide that blocked Madison River and created a small lake.

We don't know these kids!
