Chilly morning- 39 when we first got up! By the time we got on the road it was upper 50's and warmed up from there. Back into the park, we headed to Canyon where niece Marion is working for the summer. She was off today so we took a walk to see the The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and the biggest waterfall in the park. From. There we had lunch in the dining room where Marion works and said our goodbyes. On to Mammoth Hot Springs and then back to West Yellowstone.
This picture shows all of the new growth that has come up since the huge fire of 1988 that destroyed more than 700,000 acres in YNP.
